Last year, Stage 2 went from Brigham City to Snowbasin Resort. Riders traveled through Sardine Canyon north, then looped back around through Brigham City before heading through Perry, Willard and Pleasant View before finishing at Snowbasin.

For last year’s Stage 5, riders started in Layton, looped around to Hooper, went through South Weber and finished in Bountiful.

This summer, St. George makes its host debut as a Tour of Utah newcomer for the prologue Monday, Aug. 6.

Cedar City will host Stage 1 on Aug. 7 and Payson will host Stage 2 on Aug. 8.

Salt Lake City hosts Stage 4 on Aug. 10. The “Queen Stage” is Aug. 11 featuring a route from the Canyons Village in Park City to the traditional Saturday finish at Snowbird Resort.

Park City will host the Tour of Utah for a ninth time with Stage 6. The Sunday finale on Aug. 12 will determine the overall winner.
